Mission
​Having taken AP economics and introductory finance, I want to provide the information I was exposed to throughout the courses in a condensed, comprehensible manner. In doing so, I hope to celebrate my learnings over time and break down financial concepts and economic principles, making them relatable and easy to grasp. DSJ hopes to help students learn whether it is from general curiosity or to excel in a test.
Target Audience
As mentioned, the website seeks to support teenagers, providing information at a secondary education level. However, for those older or younger who also want to explore the fields of econ and finance, DSJ may provide a good starting point. We hope everyone can learn something!
Vision
The ultimate goal of the Door Street Journal is to provide a comprehensive overview of finance and economics. However, DSJ is currently a small-scale project, so it would take a long time to fulfill that dream. When the website gains some traction, I hope to be able to get some additional help to help improve the website!
